Description
For video networks with heavy data loads, this industrial Layer 2/3 switch provides eight copper ports 10/100/1000TX on RJ45, with ports 1 to 4 carrying PoE+ and ports 5 to 8 PoE++, within a maximum of 360W across all ports. Two SFP/SFP+ slots for 1G/10G form the backbone connection, the backplane delivers 56GBit/s and the MAC table holds 16k entries. Besides static routing, the device handles the dynamic protocols OSPFv2/v3 and RIPv1/v2 for IPv4 and IPv6, and it also supports S-VLAN as well as PTP to IEEE1588 v2 and IEC 61588. Non Stop PoE keeps connected PDs supplied during a reboot, and jumbo frames up to 10240 bytes are supported at 100MBit/s too. The fanless DIN rail housing measures 170x70x130mm, operates from -40°C to +75°C and runs on 48-56VDC; individual management interfaces can be switched off.
