The SPE-1630 is a video encoder with 16 BNC inputs (1.0 Vp-p / 75Ω composite NTSC/PAL) that auto-detects CVBS as well as AHD, CVI and TVI at 1, 2, 4 and 5MP. Encoding uses H.265, H.264 (MPEG-4 Part 10/AVC, Main/Baseline/High) and MJPEG with up to 3 profiles per channel; the main stream reaches 12fps/CH at 5MP, 15fps/CH (N) or 12fps/CH (P) at 4MP, and 30fps/CH (N) or 25fps/CH (P) for 1080p, 720p, WD1, 4CIF and CIF. Bitrate for H.265 and H.264 can be run as CBR or VBR, and audio is compressed as G.711 u-law. Operational functions include motion detection, privacy masking with four rectangular zones, de-interlacing, 16 alarm inputs and 4 alarm outputs (1 NO/COM/NC, 3 NO/COM), plus 4 line inputs and 1 line output; alarms are reported by FTP file upload or e-mail. Remote control runs over 1x RS-485 (half duplex) with SAMSUNG-T and PELCO-P/D as well as coaxial control, and the network side offers 1 RJ-45 10/100/1000 Base-T with IPv4 and IPv6.
