A 4 MP CMOS sensor produces video at up to 2688 × 1520 px across viewing angles of 110° horizontally and 60° vertically. Encoding uses H.264, while HDR improves the accuracy of detail in bright and dark scenes. Connectivity is handled by an 802.11 b/g/n module on 2.4 GHz along with the Jeweller and Wings communication technologies, and the stream reaches an NVR or Ajax Cloud Storage over JetSparrow, an encrypted peer-to-peer video protocol. Movement is registered by a built-in PIR sensor combined with software image frame analysis over a distance of up to 13 ft, and AI distinguishes people, pets and vehicles. Smart IR illumination reaches up to 26 ft and adjusts its intensity in real time to avoid overexposure. This outdoor gateway brings 4G LTE access, Wi-Fi 6 and three Gigabit PoE in and out ports together in one unit, with downlink and uplink rates of up to 300/50 Mbit/s and GSM bands at 850, 900, 1800 and 2100 MHz. A Nano SIM card is inserted directly or an Ethernet WAN port is used instead, and the device provides automatic backup and load balancing between the mobile and the wired path. The weatherproof enclosure was rated IP55 in ingress protection testing and can be powered over PoE or through the DC input, which also works with solar panels. Wireless operation covers the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands with SSID, WPA2 and WPA3 security plus MAC address filtering, and up to 50 PPTP/L2TP and 50 SSL VPN tunnels are supported at an SSL VPN throughput of 0.0866 Gbit/s. Hardware resources are 512 MB of DDR4 memory and 256 MB of flash; the white housing carries two external antennas with up to 4 dBi gain, a status LED and mounting kits for a wall or a pole.
