Description
With 24 copper ports of 10/100/1000TX and RJ45 delivering PoE+ to 802.3af (15W) and 802.3at (30W) at up to 370W across all ports, this managed 19″ switch covers larger video networks, while four SFP/SFP+ ports at 1G/10G form the uplink. It works on layer 2 and layer 3, supports DMS and is dimensioned for high data loads such as video over IP and video streaming with multicast, with extensive security features protecting the device and the network traffic. Cameras fed by the switch are monitored continuously and restarted after a failure; Non Stop PoE and PTP to IEEE 1588 v2 are part of the feature set. Access is provided through HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, Telnet client, IPv6 management, SNMP v1, v2c and v3 with traps and USM, as well as web GUI, DMS, console and RMON; the backplane reaches 128GBit/s with a 32k MAC table. At 100-240VAC and 50-60Hz consumption is 40W at most without PoE and 410W with PoE, operation is permitted from 0°C to 45°C, and the chassis measures 442 x 211 x 44mm at 3.7 kg net.
