Description
This managed 19″ switch with layer 2/3 functions, strong security features and 10GBit/s uplinks is built for applications with high data loads such as video over IP and video streaming including multicast. Eight copper ports of 10/100/1000TX with RJ45 deliver PoE+ to 802.3af (15W) and 802.3at (30W) with a maximum of 250W across all ports, two SFP/SFP+ ports run at 1G/10G, and an RS232 console port with RJ45 is available. The switch monitors PoE-powered cameras continuously and restarts them after a failure; Non Stop PoE and PTP to IEEE 1588 v2 are implemented. Administration covers HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, Telnet client, IPv6 management and SNMP v1, v2c and v3 with traps and USM, alongside web GUI, DMS, console and RMON; the backplane reaches 56GBit/s with a 16k MAC table. Supplied with 100-240VAC at 50-60Hz, the unit draws a maximum of 40W without PoE and 290W with PoE, carries a regulated fan, works from 0°C to 50°C and weighs 2.5 kg net.
