Description
This managed 19″ switch with light core operates on layer 2 and layer 3 and is intended for applications with high data loads such as video over IP and video streaming including multicast; extensive security functions protect both the device itself and the network traffic. It provides two copper ports at 1G/2.5G/5G/10G and eight SFP/SFP+ ports for 1G/10G, plus an RS232 console port with RJ45 and console cable; PoE is not included. Besides static routing it supports dynamic methods with OSPFv2/v3 and RIPv1/v2, and administration is available through web GUI, DMS, SNMPv1, v2c and v3, console, Telnet and RMON, with individual management access methods able to be disabled. Backplane capacity is 200GBit/s and the MAC table holds 32k entries. The ring-capable unit is fed with 100-240VAC at 50-60Hz, draws 40W at most, carries a regulated fan, works from 0°C to 50°C and measures 220 x 242 x 44mm at 1.7 kg net.
