Description
Dimensioned for networks with heavy data loads such as video over IP and video streaming, this managed 19″ layer 2 switch with DMS combines 24 copper ports of 10/100/1000TX with RJ45 and PoE+ to 802.3af/at, with a maximum of 370W available across all ports. Four SFP slots for 100/1000 act as uplinks and an RS232 console port with RJ45 completes the access options. Cameras fed by the switch are monitored and restarted automatically after a failure; if that does not succeed, or if excessive power is requested, an SNMP alarm is issued. The backplane delivers 56GBit/s, the MAC table holds 8k entries, and configuration runs over console, web GUI and SNMPv1, v2c and v3. Power comes from 100-240VAC at 50-60Hz with a maximum draw of 40W without PoE, the switch operates from 0°C to 50°C, measures 442 x 211 x 44mm and weighs 3.4 kg net.
