The EN54 Fire Hub Jeweller is a wireless fire alarm control panel that serves as control and indicating equipment (CIE) and also supports intrusion protection devices. It handles up to 40 fire zones, up to 80 rooms and up to 25 security groups, with an event log holding up to 6,000 events. Connected devices include up to 10 intrusion sirens, up to 50 keypads with a built-in buzzer and up to 5 EN54 Fire ReX Jeweller range extenders. Jeweller and Wings each provide a radio range of up to 5,900 ft with GFSK modulation, up to 20 mW ERP and block encryption using a dynamic key. External connectivity comprises one 8P8C Ethernet socket, two micro-SIM slots for 2G and 4G (LTE) and an 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi module, with automatic switching in the priority order Ethernet, Wi-Fi, cellular. This wireless addressable range extender scales a fire alarm system to fit larger facilities and also supports intrusion protection devices. Up to 5 EN54 Fire ReX Jeweller units connect to the CIE, and each unit in turn takes up to 199 devices. Jeweller and Wings radio both use GFSK modulation with up to 20 mW ERP and reach up to 5,900 ft across bands from 866.0 to 926.5 MHz, while a single 8P8C socket provides the wired Ethernet channel. Alarms reach the CIE in 0.3 s and photos in 18 s or 10 s, with green and yellow LED indication. The EN54 Internal Battery is an internal battery that supplies backup power to CIE devices and range extenders. It is built from 4 × 18650 rechargeable Li-ion cells rated at 7.4 V⎓ nominal voltage and 5 Ah capacity, with a maximum load current of 3.2 A and an end-of-life battery voltage of 6 V⎓. Average power consumption is 50 mAh with LTE only, 70 mAh with Wi-Fi only and 120 mAh with Ethernet only, 102 mAh with Ethernet and cellular in standby, and 140 mAh with LTE, Wi-Fi and Ethernet together. The enclosure measures 6.54 × 3.43 × 0.92 inches, weighs 9.52 oz, carries an IP20 protection class and is rated from 14 °F to 104 °F at up to 75% non-condensing humidity. Batteries are sold as a separate SKU and are not part of the Fire Hub and ReX complete set. The warranty covers 24 months.
