Description
This fanless industrial switch for DIN rail mounting is managed, operates on Layer 2 and Layer 3 and supports DMS. Two or more of its connections can build fault-tolerant optical fibre rings to IEEE802.x, and after an interruption the ring closes again in less than 50ms. Eight copper ports of 10/100/1000TX with RJ45, Auto MDI/MDIX and auto-negotiation are provided alongside four SFP slots for 100/1000, plus an RS232 console port at 115,2kBit/s (8, N, 1, RJ45) and one digital input and one digital output contact. Backplane capacity is 24 GBit/s at a forwarding rate of 17.9 Mpps, the MAC table holds 8k entries, jumbo frames up to 9600 bytes are supported even at 100 Mbit/s, and PTP to IEEE1588 v2 and IEC 61588 is implemented. Redundant power of 12-50VDC is wired via screw terminals with 15W maximum consumption, and operation is permitted from -40°C to +75°C at 5% to 95% relative humidity, non-condensing.
