Description
This surveillance hard disk in 3.5-inch format provides 12 TB of capacity at 7200 RPM with a 256 MB buffer, connected over Serial ATA III at 6 Gbit/s and reaching an average transfer rate of 250 MB/s. The manufacturer designs the SkyHawk AI series for AI video analytics, with support for up to 64 HD cameras plus 32 additional AI streams and ImagePerfect AI firmware intended to deliver zero dropped frames. Its workload rate limit is 550 TB per year, the mean time between failures 2000000 h and the drive is rated for 300000 start/stop cycles; SMART is supported and SkyHawk Health Management covers monitoring, intervention and recovery.
