Description
Outdoor cabinet with a power supply and battery backup built in, for PoE equipment on a pole or a wall. The shell is 304L stainless steel with a white powder coat, sealed to IP66; the 304 stainless swing handle takes a padlock with a shackle under 13 mm. Inside are a mounting plate with DIN rails for an industrial switch or a PoE surge protector, a set of cable glands (4 x M25, 8 x M16) and the power module. It delivers 55 V DC at 5.03 A within a 360 W budget and charges the batteries at 55 V DC and 1.5 A; when mains fails, the battery carries the load. Overload, short circuit and deep discharge are guarded against, cut-off is 43 V ±0.5 V, and reverse polarity is handled. There is room for four 12 V batteries of 7 to 10 Ah (not supplied), lithium (LiFePO4) or lead acid. Input 110 V AC or 220 V AC, 2 digital inputs and 2 outputs, prepared for an opening alarm switch and a fibre tray. Working range -5 °C to 50 °C, from -40 °C with a heater or blower module. 380 x 273.5 x 525 mm, 11.7 kg.
