Description
Outdoor EPoT transmit adapter, mounted on the pole or wall beside the camera. It offers one EPoT port on RJ45 and one RJ45 PoE output acting as PSE for IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at and 802.3bt, with a voltage booster holding the output up. Data and power share a shielded Cat5e/6 STP/FTP cable on four pairs, two pairs or one pair: 16 W at 1,200 m while running 100 Mbps, or data alone as far as 2,400 m. Intermediate switches and power supplies along the run are unnecessary. The aluminium case is rated IP67 and IK10, surge protection is 6 kV and ESD ±4 kV contact, ±8 kV air; it works from -30 °C to 60 °C, is stored between -40 °C and 85 °C and tolerates 5 to 95 % non-condensing humidity. Input is EPoT at 50 to 56 VDC, the unit draws 2 W, a DIP switch disables the PoE output, and peer-to-peer, daisy-chain and failover ring topologies are supported. Size 193.6 x 55.82 x 39.76 mm, 0.36 kg, wall mounting, EN62368-1, MTBF above 50,000 hours.
