Description
Outdoor EPoC transmit adapter, mounted on a wall or pole next to the camera. It provides one 75 Ω BNC port and one RJ45 PoE output acting as PSE for IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at and 802.3bt, with a voltage booster on the output; no local power supply is required because the unit is fed by PoE over the coax. Across RG59, RG6 or RG11, up to 9.7 W remain available at 1,200 m while running 100 Mbps, and data alone reaches 2,400 m, so the coax of an existing CCTV installation can keep serving PoE IP cameras. The aluminium case is rated IP67 and IK10, surge protection is 6 kV, and it works from -30 °C to 60 °C, is stored between -40 °C and 85 °C and tolerates 5 to 95 % non-condensing humidity. Cable entry is one M25 gland each for BNC and RJ45, a DIP switch disables the PoE output, and the unit draws 3 W. Size 193.6 x 55.8 x 39.76 mm, 0.3 kg, wall mounting, EN62368-1.
