Description
Media converter that draws its own power over the network: the Gigabit copper port acts as a PD and takes power from a bt PoE source, or the unit runs from 12 V DC instead. The SFP slot for 100/1000BASE-X carries the link on over fibre. This gives a copper-to-fibre transition at a location with no mains socket nearby. The PD input accepts either polarity, 12(-) with 36(+), then 45(+) with 78(-) as well as 12(+) with 36(-), then 45(+) with 78(-). Standby draw 0.36 W at 12 V DC. Switching capacity 4 Gbps, forwarding 2.976 Mpps, 4K MAC table, jumbo frames 9K bytes, link fault passthrough. IP30, fanless, -40 °C to 75 °C, 103.9 x 48.9 x 28.2 mm, 0.3 kg.
