Description
Indoor PoE extender that re-powers to the standard rather than passively. The input behaves as an IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ Type 4 PD and takes in up to 90 W; the output acts as an 802.3bt Type 3, 802.3at or 802.3af PSE and detects the attached device on its own. That adds another 100 m to a PoE run, and two units chained together reach up to 300 m. No local power supply is needed — installation is a matter of plugging in both leads. Both Gigabit ports handle auto-MDI/MDI-X and auto-negotiation, switching capacity is 4 Gbps and the MAC table holds 2K. A DIP switch disables output power. 6 kV surge protection per PoE port, -40 °C to 65 °C, 90 x 69.4 x 28.5 mm, 0.19 kg.
