Description
The AE-238 is an outdoor enclosure from the Versatile Series, built for all VIVOTEK box cameras. Its cast aluminum housing is weather-proof to IP68 and impact rated to IK10. A window demister heater and fan keep the viewing window clear: the heater switches on at ≤ 30°C (86°F) and off at ≥ 35°C (95°F), while the fan runs from ≥ 40°C (104°F) and stops at ≤ 35°C (95°F). Input voltage is AC/DC 24V, with one AC/DC 24V and one DC 12V output available on the output side within a 30W budget; the window heater draws 10W, the fan 2W and other components 2W. Operating temperature spans -20°C to 65°C (-4°F to 149°F). Supplied accessories are a Quick Installation Guide, screw kit, wall mount bracket (AM-21E) and sun shield (AE-2S1), and wall, ceiling, corner and standing mounting are all catered for.
