Description
The module supplies additional power to security devices on the Fibra line and is wired in with a 4-core cable at any point of that line. Up to 6,500 ft are permitted between the module and the hub as well as between the module and the last Fibra device on each line, and one input line is provided. Mains supply is 100–240 V~, 50/60 Hz, with a device nominal voltage of 12 V⎓ and type A classification. Backup power comes from a 12 V⎓ battery of 7 to 17 Ah capacity, recharged to 80% in up to 24 hours; low battery voltage is 11.3 V⎓, recovery voltage 14.3 V⎓, end-of-life voltage 10.5 V⎓, and the minimum energy level in the charged state is 100%. Maximum peak-to-peak ripple battery voltage is 5%, compliant with EN 50131-6. Power output is 30 W per output line and 15 W for charging the backup battery, complemented by overvoltage protection on the Fibra signal lines, device authentication and communication loss detection after 36 s.
