Superior Hub G3 Jeweller is a Grade 3 wireless security system control panel with cellular, Wi-Fi and Ethernet communication channels, intended for high-risk facilities. It handles up to 5 range extenders, up to 10 sirens without Superior Jeweller support and up to 50 keypads, alongside up to 25 security groups, up to 50 rooms and an event log holding up to 1000 entries. Wireless operation covers the Superior Jeweller, Jeweller, TurboWings, Wings and VoRF protocols in the 865.0–868.0, 868.0–868.6, 868.7–869.2 and 869.4–869.65 MHz bands, using GFSK modulation, up to 20 mW ERP and a range of up to 3500 m. Connectivity is provided by one 8P8C Ethernet socket, two micro SIM slots for 2G and 4G (LTE) and an 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi module, prioritised as Ethernet, Wi-Fi, cellular. Switching between SIM cards takes up to 4 minutes. External antenna connectors for Jeweller, Wings and 4G (LTE) are fitted, and the panel operates in pass-through mode with signalling security S2 and information security I2. Up to 5 range extenders can be attached to one hub, and up to 249 devices to a single range extender. Transmission uses the Superior Jeweller, Jeweller and Wings protocols in the 865.0–868.0, 868.0–868.6, 868.7–869.2 and 869.4–869.65 MHz bands with GFSK modulation, up to 20 mW ERP and a range of up to 3500 m; an alarm reaches the hub in 0.3 s and a photo in 18 s or 10 s. Device authentication protects against spoofing, and communication loss is detected after 36 s. Type A main power runs on 110–240 V at 50/60 Hz, while the DC range covers 6.0 to 8.2 V⎓ with 7.0 V⎓ as the low battery voltage, 8.135 V⎓ as the recovery voltage and 6.0 V⎓ at end of life.
