Description
DoorProtect is a wireless opening detector that monitors doors and windows and reports when they are opened. Its sensitive element is a single reed switch, and a small and a big magnet are supplied in the set. The enclosure measures 90 × 20 × 20 mm. Transmission runs over Jeweller with GFSK modulation, up to 20 mW ERP and a radio range of up to 1,200 m; communication loss is detected after 36 s and device authentication protects against spoofing. The 1,600 mAh CR123A battery is calculated for up to 7 years at 3 V nominal, drawing 17.5 μA quiescent and 21.4 mA maximum.
