Description
Solid blanking panel for 19-inch cabinets, 1U, 482 × 15 × 44 mm, steel, in black.
Blanking panels close unused rack units and so direct the airflow inside the cabinet: without them the warm exhaust from the back of the equipment travels through the open gaps back to the intakes at the front, which cuts cooling efficiency sharply. Closing empty gaps is the simplest first step towards a better power usage figure, and it gives the rack an unbroken front at the same time.
The panel snaps in and needs no tools; cage nuts and screws are included. RoHS compliant.
