Description
The PD-R2 is a 19-inch subrack of two height units with 17 slots for VDSL2 LAN extenders. It addresses low density installations where management functions are not required, and each extender can alternatively be run as a stand-alone device. An AC power supply is built in and feeds all modules centrally, while a fan keeps the rack temperature within the permissible working range. Connection is by IEC plug at 230VAC; the base load is 10W, each modem adds 4.5W, and the thermal loss is 34 BTU/h. The subrack measures 199mm x 476mm x 88mm (LxWxH), weighs 2.9 kg net and operates between 0°C and 50°C.
