Description
The XRN-1620B2 is a network video recorder for up to 16 channels that connects cameras from CIF to 32MP over SUNAPI and ONVIF. Recording uses H.265, H.264 and MJPEG at a bandwidth of up to 140Mbps, while playback runs at up to 32Mbps across a maximum of 64 simultaneous channels, comprising 16 local and 16 per remote user. Locally the unit drives two FHD monitors via HDMI and VGA or a single UHD monitor via HDMI, with dynamic layout and virtual channel view available. Recording modes include normal, dual stream, schedule, event with pre- and post-recording and bookmarks, triggered by alarm inputs, video loss, camera events and dynamic events, so new camera functions can be used without a software update. AI search becomes available when Wisenet AI cameras are deployed; storage is provided by eight SATA bays for up to 80TB with drives of up to 10TB, and the recorder runs embedded Linux.
