Description
Single-channel surge protector for EPoC links, mounted beside the EPoC receiver to guard both the signal and the power path on the coaxial run. Two BNC sockets form the pass-through. Protection level is 6 kV in common and differential mode alike, clamping voltage 100 V in both, discharge current 2 kA at 1 kA per line, response time 5 ns. Up to 60 V DC and 1 A are permitted, at which point dissipation is 2 W. An indicator lights once the protector is used up. Wall mounted, operating and storage range -40 °C to 85 °C, humidity 5 to 95 % non-condensing, 80 x 40 x 25 mm, 0.18 kg, EMC to CE and FCC.
