Description
Receive end of an EPoT link, sitting at the head of the run: one EPoT port on RJ45 and one 10/100 Mbps PoE PD port. Every watt for the link is drawn from a PoE switch or injector – IEEE 802.3bt at 90 W is the recommendation – and 30 W, 60 W or 48 to 56 VDC at the DC jack are accepted as well. Data and power travel over shielded Cat5e/6 STP/FTP cable on four pairs, two pairs or one pair for as far as 1,200 m, with data alone reaching 2,400 m at 100 Mbps. That feeds both the TX adapter and the camera at the far end with no switch or power supply in between. Peer-to-peer, daisy-chain and failover ring topologies work, and an eight-bay 19-inch chassis (CH-110-V2) is available as an option. The unit draws 2 W; surge protection is 6 kV, ESD ±4 kV contact and ±8 kV air.
