Description
One-channel surge protector for equipment inside a building, rated to 10 Gbps: it passes 10M/100M/1G/2.5G/10G over Cat 5e or Cat 6, UTP or STP. Data and power are protected across all eight conductors, at 20 kV common mode and 4 kV differential mode, with up to 10 kA discharge current, 5 ns response and clamping of 600 V to ground and 20 V line to line. PoE support covers 802.3af, 802.3at, 802.3bt and UPoE at no more than 60 V DC, 1 A over two pairs, 2 A over four pairs and 95 W. Insertion loss is 1 dB and return loss -20 dB at 10 and 100 MHz. Nothing has to be configured, and an LED marks a spent protector. Temperature range -40 °C to 85 °C, 80 x 40 x 25 mm, 0.18 kg, two RJ45 sockets.
